They can increase the price all they want, I'm not interested.

I don't get it, isn't it the other way around? Prices stick at or above MSRP when the car first comes out, then slowly comes down. Are they trying to encourage sales of the sedan?

This doesn't make sense to me either. Dealers aren't likely to discount the coupe much because of a smaller inventory level, especially throughout October and November. So folks are going to rush in and pay sticker? I would hope not! Also, how can Honda justify a much higher price for the coupe than the sedan? I may end up in a Mazda3 before it's all over.

Well, don't see the point of that because dealers will barley get any coupes by December 2. I wonder how long it is until Honda will axe the coupe...and hopefully make up for it by offering the sedan in a V6 / 6MT combo.

curt1, thank you! I thought I was the only one, especially about "~higher price~" part.. (but I can't see myself in Mazda.. maybe I will keep being bitter about AHM until I go back riding bikes, where Honda is also screwing up big time.) I am seriously considering TSX Wagon for which I can get one for $27~28k.

Must be a USA thing only. Do not see it in Canada. Honda has done this in the past before. It really doesn't make much sense. A newer model has higher interest rates, no rebates or incentives and low inventory so good luck with haggling. Whatever "deal" they are giving now will pale in comparison to what your overall payment will be on the same car in 4-6 months time.
Besides, up here, who buys Coupe's in the Winter time?

I stopped in yesterday (10/17/12) to speak with the Sales Manger, he pulled up a list of cars that were scheduled to be built, built and in route, It showed two to be delivered next week, and several more with dates every week thru Mid December, mine is scheduled to be built mid November.
I also contacted Honda USA asking about the "Limited Introductory Pricing", was told, that after Dec 2, the Coupes would return to normal MSRP, I asked, what is Normal MSRP, was told NO IDEA, the person at Honda admitted never seeing this before and Superior's are being tight lipped concerning this subject!!!
Someone with pull needs to chime in with some facts.
