Seems they've stretched it a bit...possibly for a more useable 3rd row.

I thought it was known that they were going after the Buick in this regard.

I think there is room for it to grow, 2-3 inches (max) unless the new chassis also grows the wheelbase a bit. It could certainly benefit from a little more 3rd row space.

Agree it is now more "pilotesque" certainly because now it has a real third row. Time to swap our odyssey again soon!

Overall, I like what I see. The front appears good and the side looks very similar to the previous generation. The one thing that I do worry about is the rear bumper area. I am not opposed to not having dual exhaust removed as they did on the ILX, RDX (which I own) and the upcoming RLX. I also know the TLX will also lose them. Where I am concerned about is how much we seem to see underneath the body of the MDX. It almost appears that there seems be lacking some finishing touch on the bottom of the bumper to flare out a bit. I will reserve judgement until I see the "uncamoed" pics but that is the single point of concern so far....and maybe a weak wheel styling. Otherwise, should be a good looking SUV :)

The Buick is much longer well over 200 inches. If Honda is going with that size, I think it will be with a Pilot badge
