Kind of sad to see this car go. It's the Acura I love to hate.

My comments back in 2009:

"I see this as Acura's lame attempt to copy-cat everything BMW does wrong (appealling to image conscious douche bags), while ignoring what they do right (making wonderfully balanced driver's cars)

It's a impractical gas guzzler for the phallically challenged. It continues Acura's forgettable alphabet soup naming convention and will no doubt feature a hideous chrome beaver tooth up front. Other than that I feel really positive about it."

Can't really take sole credit for calling it. If you go back to the threads on the day it was released, the consensus was that it was a flop. Honda could save a lot of market research money if they just started listening to their fans.

Check your history book. This vehicle was launched at almost the exact time as the BMW. They were in the development phase at the same time, unknown to the public and each other. There was no copying involved. If anything, they probably just got the exact same data from the exact same group, hahaha.
