It would look better with tan interior, IMO.

All that trim and they left the black sparkle piece around the radio touch screen.

I stopped by my local dealer last night to take a look myself. Sat in an EX-L with black interior.

The sparkle trim looks GAWD AWFUL. Everything else about the interior is handsome and comfortable... except the Sparkle Cow radio trim piece.

Beyond that, I am still stuck. I'd love to get into an Accord but they don't make the one I want:

- 17" Sport Wheels or even 17"LX-Style Wheels -- not a fan of the grandpa-inspired fan design of the EX. 18" wheels are a sweet design but add weight and will be $$ to replace the tires on.

- Sparkle Cow trim replacement

- Leather in the LX. The cloth feels crumbly and cheaply made, like a last gen rental car Altima. I was hoping for the tight weave cloth seats I've seen on other cars. I don't need all the nanny safety controls, or a computer reading me Facebook updates.

I may yet get one but I'm disappointed in how the car is *so* close to being really great.

I'm pretty much to the point after 3 weeks where I don't even notice the sparkle anymore. I didn't even notice it at all during my rather lengthy test drive and a day of driving my own EX-L until I read a post on TOV in which someone mentioned it. It probably wouldn't be my choice if I had one (vs. say, a plain piano black), but I find it very subtle unless sunlight is shining directly on it. At any rate, if that's the biggest issue with this otherwise outstanding car, I'll be an extremely satisfied customer.

The dash kit is what I'd classify as GAWD AWFUL... reminds me of the primary interior flaw in my 2003 EX-L V6... the "encasing" of the console and lower center stack in fake wood. Not bad looking fake wood, but WAAAAYYYY too much of it.

Does it come with these too?

"Wood" trim on the glove compartment locking mechanism? Seriously? I'll pass.

Gross.
Probably looks even worse than the black sparkly plastic trim around the radio that looks like it has dust on it that can't be wiped clean.
