Today alone I saw quite a few 2013 Accords on the road. 3 white Accord Sports and what looked to be EX's or EX-L's.
All of them were attractive but the Sport just looks awesome in motion. You immediately know it's an Accord but the way the car sits on the road and certain design elements/details make it look really, really good! Awesome job Honda!

Lots of Accords on dealer lots around Toledo, OH (with the weird trim mix I've mentioned on other threads--no Tourings in all of Northern Ohio). But I have yet to see one Accord "in the wild" (on the street, with either temp tags or a normal license plate, and not dealer plates).
The inventories at the three dealer sites I check also don't seem to be moving much--same numbers, maybe a car or two less. (Not even sure if the stale 2012 leftovers are moving, either.)

The same here in Louisville. I haven't seen one on the streets, but the dealerships have a pile of them. Still cannot find a 6mt and who is even going to want one with only two colors to choose from? I had great expectations for Honda, but even though they have some decent looks to them, the CVT drive train and the DI engine are both loser's for me. I've decided to install a aftermarket grill in my 2000 Accord and buy some new wheels from tirerack and drive it another 170K miles.

If I could purchase a Sport 6mt, in light tan, with push button start, I'd probably would buy it today. I'll see what they offer in the coupe.

The only 6 speeds my local dealer seems to have are Civic Si's.

Yeah - I'm in Louisville too. I've seen one on the lot at a dealer, and a couple on that same dealer's overflow lot.

Here's a crazy idea. What if the dealer's stocked 6 speed Accord Sport's, offered them in all the colors, and had an $895 sunroof option?
Let the ridicule begin!

We open the sunroof in our 2000 EX 2 or 3 times a week in nice weather but the vent feature is handy, too.

As you know, they are selling as they are getting them in, and so they are probably selling dozens a month. But the inventory will probably keep building until they get to around 100 maybe?
Sam Swope's prices are silly. Way above msrp.
Hope to get a big discount in a couple of months, but who knows, I may need to drive out of the city for that....

benbess, thanks for the clarification on this particular dealer.
Probably a good one to avoid if you live in Louisville!
Back in the day, I remember a local KC dealer had a dirty MR2 demo. (1st gen.) on their lot with a $3,000 addendum in the window. I couldn't believe it.

Sam Swope isn't necessarily bad, but you have to be careful. I got bought my 2002 Accord LX from them, as well as the 2008 EXL navi manual. The LX I got at a big discount, almost $4000 off msrp. How? Well, a competing Honda dealer 10 miles farther away from where I live had an internet ad with that price and Sam Swope matched it.
On my 2008 I did a special order to get the manual transmission and the exact color I wanted right after the all new model was introduced. I ordered it almost exactly 5 years ago. Anyway, I wasn't in a strong bargaining position what with it being all new and even more because it was a special order. You can't pretend you don't want the car or could just buy another if the car you want doesn't exist anywhere else in the whole country! But still I managed to get $1000 off list.
This time I'm not special ordering, and hope to get at least $1500 off of an EXL navi sedan. But right now Swope has them marked up about $1500 *above* list. Yikes. I don't mind them getting a bit of profit, esp. on an all new model that's getting rave reviews, but I'm not going to get ripped off either.
The bottom line is that Swopw will almost certainly bargain and discount if that's the way you want to buy them. I will probably go with their internet sales person through Truecar or something like that, because my salesguy retired.
But if you just go in there and ask for their best price, you're just asking to be overcharged.
Swope also has a good service dept, and so I would like to buy from them if I can. But if they won't bargain big time on price by December I'll take my biz elsewhere....

I don't know anything about Mongomery, but I can tell you that the service at Swope's is excellent. I have a 2000EX Accord that has been serviced exclusively through Swope and they have always been fair. The last service was a timing belt/water pump that they changed for less than what it would have cost at Ken Towerly.

Cripes, I might be the first one "in the wild" with my Touring which is on-order through my broker! (Well, not really--they've sold some, but I just haven't seen one in my normal runnings-around! I'd expect to see some Coupes on the lots any day now.)

I've seen a black Accord a few days back on the road.
The front and the side looks very nice and clean.
The rear is nice too, but looked like a blatant copy of genesis (irrespective of whether it is intended or not).
The rear looked too similar to genesis and makes it hard to identify from a distance whether it is a Honda or a Hyundai.
I know it won't be an issue to many people, though.
