Look at that genuine emotion. Senna is the best. I'm glad he was such an integral part of Honda's 2nd era of F1 racing and vice versa.

Excellent link, thank you! Glad to hear he was a big fan of Honda as well as a driver.

Wow. That was touching.
Thanks so much. I'd never seen that before. RIP Ayrton Senna.

Most people do not understand, out of ignorance.
But Ayrton understood. Honda is special.

Don't forget, Aryon's belief and loyalty to Honda what made Rubinho signed on to be part Honda F1.

If you use Mozilla Firefox there is an add on called video Ook that allows users to download youtube videos.
I have only seen recorded videos of Senna, I was not a F1 fan back then. Unfortunately its not the same as getting up in the morning to watch him race live.

if someone saves this, please post a link to download it in the videos section. I'll see if I can install firefox tonight and that streaming video downloader someone in this thread mentioned. this video is definately a must have- this and the video of the original NSX introduction posted in the NSX forum over the weekend.

Does anyone have this downloaded? The link above has since been removed from YouTube and I'm not able to find a copy. Maybe on world.honda.com? If anyone has a link to watch or download it, I'd be very grateful. With the NSX 2.0 concept being unveiled tomorrow at NAIAS (detroit), I'd like to continue building up the nostalgia and excitement with this video as part of the count down party.
Best,
Joe

Honda loved Senna and Senna loved Honda. Their passions and pursuit of perfection were shared in equal measure.
Honda trusted implicitly Sennas input and feedback, his legendary recall of detail ( prior to data logging ) was used by Honda in their developement.
Seeing him emotional in this way was typical of his nature when something he trusted was to be removed from his inner sanctum. Senna trusted very few individuals but Honda were a company different from others who had his total trust and to see them leave devastated him.
I love that passion and his ability to wear it on his sleeve without it being contrived.

Crap this video brought tears to my eyes - Senna and late 80s/early 90s Honda, two of the greatest loves during my adolescence/teenage years.
