New pictures of the 2013 European-spec Honda CR-V have recently been released. I am really impressed by all the features found on the car...it's even more loaded than some Acuras. Here are just some of the things you can get on this CR-V:
-LED daytime running lights
-Keyless entry and push button start
-Power tailgate
-Hill Descent Control
-Honda's Advanced Driver Assist System, or ADAS - includes:
-Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS)
-Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
-Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS)
-"Emergency Stop System (ESS) will automatically activate the brake and hazard warning lights (indicators). The lights will blink rapidly to warn following vehicles that the Honda CR-V is stopping abruptly, alleviating the risk of a collision"
Also, in the photo of the dash, you can see the memory seat settings on the door. Other things include parking sensors, turn signal mirrors, and headlamp washers.

Is Acura selling their RDX there too?
This CRV is more loaded than the RDX base sold in the US.
So in the US, would this be the CR-V Titanium?? Just kidding!
These are nice features for a CRV Touring with sport suspension that would likely brush up against the base RDX. I wonder if the front light assembly could be offered thru CollegeHill or Hondacura? I remember back when we got our 2005 CRV one of them offered "imported" accessories for the CRV.
Well then, that explains a lot.
I wonder how much more $$ is it priced vs. an EX-L equivalent.
The base Acura RDX FWD is $7K USD over the EX-L non navi.
The Euro CR-V looks awesome. However, it leaves me scratching my head at Honda (again) . . . How is it that they can offer these premium features in some markets yet the premium Acura brand doesn't get them?

Everything in the UK is about 1.5x more expensive because of the exchange rate. Anyway, the current previous generation CR-V selling there starts at a base price of $35,714 (SE trim, 2.0 manual transmission) and goes all the way up to $45,810 (EX trim, 2.0 automatic transmission). The diesel engine prices are slightly higher. Now you can be thankful for living the the United States hahaha.
However, the base SE model does come pretty well equipped with alloy wheels, dual zone climate control, leather steering wheel and shift knob, fog lights, front & rear parking sensors, auto dimming rearview mirror. I mean come on! Even with that high base price of $35k, it still has the parking senors and fog lights that are not on the base RDX.

Haven't have in the last version either, I think just a few before MMC have been available as a special edition in 2009. They only achieved Euro 4 emissions....
The JDM and EDM models look so much better than what they gave the USDM market. If our model looked this with 18s, I would buy one. I don't need frilly features, but the front end and 18s make this compete with the looks of the Escape and CX-5.

WHY doesn't Honda sell this as a Touring trim in the US??? I know what you guys are going to say, but even the MDX doesn't have LED daytime lights, a panoramic sunroof, all those extras. And dat manual tranny :O

As I just said, not even the $40,000 RDX comes with a panoramic sunroof, adaptive cruise control, bi-xenon HID headlights, LED daytime lights, front and rear parking senors, auto start-stop engine, power folding side mirros, the list goes on and on...
I agree it is weird. The '13 Accord LX has so much more than a CRV-EX.
I think starting with the '13 Accord, Honda is turning a corner in terms of waking up and offering high value products.
Hopefully the '13 CRV and '13 Cvic gets the same treatment as well.

The '13 CR-V won't receive any upgrades, but I could see them adding BSI, Lane Departure Warning, etc. and an ED powertrain for the MMC. That would make for a very nice car.
From what I've heard, Honda is dropping the DX trim and adding more features (such as Bluetooth) to all the other trims. On that note, does anyone know when the info on the 2013 Civic will be released. So many "spy shots" of the 2013 Accord...even one just sitting there at the dealer, and not a single leak on the 2013 Civic. Not even any official text info.
Unbelievable it offers stuff that even the RDX doesnt offer. I'm still confounded by how dumb Hondas configurators are. For one I would love to have the diesel version sold in the US, since it would be too expensive as a honda, they could include it in the RDX thus offering a more fuel efficient alternative to the V6.
