Since the basic Honda handsfree system doesn't import your phone's address book or have any voice dialing beyond manually added voice tags, does anyone know if the bluetooth controls can trigger your phone's own built-in voice dialing functions or Siri to dial by contact name or dial by number without touching the phone?
On most bluetooth handsfree devices, a long press on the bluetooth button will trigger voice dial on the phone, but most car manufacturers don't support that function for some reason.
(Toyota's accessory Blu Logic bluetooth system does, so it is not unheard of.)
If Honda does not support this on the 2013, then I would need to get a good phone mount that keeps the phone conveniently at arms reach and high enough in the dash so you don't have to look down to see it.
I assume companies like ProClip will have something for the 2013s in a few months.
There are also some universal phone holders that mount using the CD slot. Since I don't play CDs anymore, having the slot blocked would not be an inconvenience.

Don't know if this applies to all trim levels, but I just picked up a 2013 EX-L and it imported all of the contacts from my iPhone and you can dial them with voice commands. MUCH more seamless than the HandsFree on my 2011 EX-L V6.

Even the LX imports your phone book and allows voice dialing by name from your phone book (Call Joe Smith) or number (Dial 123456). There is a built in tutorial with the system. Overall very slick. I tried this with my first generation Droid totally bluetooth hands free, no usb connection needed. The Pandora interface worked great, too, again in the LX.
