Why is it that Acura (to my knowledge) only tests the MDX at the Ring? It would seem better (in my eyes) if Acura used a standard development and testing method across the board as all products would clearly benefit from that investment.

I think they do (now). But because of development and release cycles, the MDX is the first vehicle we have that has benefited from Ring testing.
I think the new RLX and the TL replacement are being tested there.

That is not true the first generation and I believe second generation RL was tested in the ring and I believe the 4th Generation TL was too. I would suspect that since Acura is primarily a US brand it didn’t make sense in the to test a prototype in regions where you won't going to be sold, but then again the ring is one of the toughest courses out there so why not test there regardless of where you sell. The product release theory does make some sense, but I also think it depends on the vehicles mission (i.e. it wouldn’t make sense to test the RDX or ILX on the Ring, but the MDX and or TL yes because of their sport intentions)
