Willl change their mind. People are already critizing the exterior of the car but once they see the interior, they're going to be amazed.

Nope.
As long as it is a Honda, it will be thought of as a step back of whatever is currently offered. The only outliers to this trend that I have seen are the RDX and CR-V.

I am still amazed people think the new CR-V interior is an improvement over the previous model. I think it's a notable step backwards, and I've directly compared them side by side.

Maybe. I think it looks pretty good, but that new 4 spoke steering wheel design is always going to be inferior to the 3 spoke design of the previous gen, and I hate that new speedometer Honda put in the new CR-V and now this new Accord. It looks silly.

The top clearly looks like one piece from end to end. Not sure where you think the "seams" are.

All around that top piece. It really isn't anything new. That has been done for decades. I was expecting it to be a lot more integrated than it is, especially the way it was talked about in another thread.
