The last paragraph was interesting. "it won't need to be a segment leader in fuel economy...." to win customers. Are they laying the groundwork for a slightly less than "best in class" numbers?

If I read the article correctly, I think that quote was from the president of AutoPacific and not necessarily Honda.

It will be interesting to see how the Accord compares to the competition with the new Earth Dream Tech.
