I know I'm not the first one to ask for this, but I really feel that the administrators of this site need to step up and start banning trolls.
There was a time when self-moderation and goodwill of the population was enough to keep the forums sane. That time has long passed.
When the administration doesn't enforce rules and limits on people who consistently contribute nothing of value to this site, it sends the wrong message. NASIOC at its worst was not as bad as vtec.net is now.

The "administration" runs the place as they always have, and for the most part, stay out of the bullshit unless someone really steps over the line. There are many posters here that should be thankful for how forgiving these guys can be, because damn near everyone would have got booted from here for something along the way.

Who would you want to ban?

I don't think that the "Wild West" strategy works well right now. Also, I think it detracts from the credibility of this site with sponsors and American Honda when crazy people are allowed to run rampant all over the forums.

Examples would be be forum users like "iahs2k".
There are a few common traits: They post things that are generally (a) insults (b) lacking in any substantive or analytic value (c) often sound like a broken record by posting the same crap over and over again.
Forum user "YEH" would be an example of (c), in regards to Hyundai.
The administration has been willing to crack down on trolls like 80honda in the past. I'd be grateful if they showed greater willingness to knock out more of these folks.

I kind of enjoy the comments from some of the "trolls". I actually liked 80honda. And for god sakes, please don't ever ban piccard!
The best thing to do is not fuel the fire when one breaks out.

piccard isn't a troll. Some of his posts may come off as a bit goofy, but I can't ever recall him actively trying to make people angry. 80honda in contrast did nothing but pick fights by making unreasonable statements at everyone, no matter what their position was on anything.
