WooHooo.... they're selling.
AHM should market it... I realize they plan on axing it, just as they tend to ax good vehicles all the time while they spend money on caca...
But the AHM Wagon is so nice.... and it's the only thing that AHM has to compete against the European wagons.
Lately I've been noticing quite a few Audi and VeeDub wagons around.
We get complements on our TSX Wagon in its Vortex Blue... ;-)

I had a TSX Wagon as a loaner and liked it. Even my wife who is not a fan of wagons was impressed with it and said she would purchase one when time came to replace her current car.

Lots of VW and Subaru wagons around....probably noticing the more since your wagon purchase, that seems to always happen to me when I purchase...next thing I know I see them everywhere.

Same with my wife, she said "that's a REALLY nice looking wagon, much better looking than the sedan."
She liked the TSX alot. I like it a lot too, but am reluctant to get one (although very tempted because everything else is right about the car for my needs) because of the AUTO gearbox. Never owned a car with an automatic, I think I would be bored in less than a week with it.

Glad that they are selling well! I see the Jetta Wagon TDI everywhere I go, which makes me wonder why other car manufacturers don't produce as many wagons for the U.S. This may sound stupid, but the TSX Wagon is my dream car.

I will make sure to buy one during this winter. To my eyes, TSX Wagon looks better than A4 Avant (well, no more in the US... but, Allroad is quite tempting if I want to spend $10,000 more).

Being in New England Wagons are about 50% of the TSX market.
Looking at the sales numbers, I sense some people who would have bought the Sedan are opting for the ILX instead.

Subaru cars and wagons are exotic cars in Southern California, we only see the WRX. The only Subbie wagons I see are in Oregon and Washington where they seem to be a staple.
You are correct about noticing the type of car you're driving.. it's an interesting fact, it must be subconscious.

Really? Why? The TSX is loaded. A TSX Tech is truly loaded and selling well. It simply leaves the ILX in the dust.
And a TSX wagon... well, it has simply no competition in all of AHM's products and it's the only Honda product that goes right up to the European brands in their own terms. It darn unique.
I don't think the R20 ILX competes against the TSX, and the K24 TSX only comes with the MT6 with no LSD and no Tech Package available.
Indeed, the Si is the better deal and if AHM adds more soft materials to it, it will seriously compete with the ILX K24-MT6. Currently, our '12 Si with NAVI stickers for a lot less than that ILX.
It all comes down to the fact that I don't understand what the ILX is for as currently priced and packaged.
I really hope AHM doesn't pull another boneheaded self defeating move and axes the TSX... instead they should move production to NA.

Me too!
I remember the press release saying the wagon wasn't coming to Canada. It also said something about a possibility in the future. Good sales numbers can't hurt.
Why they started the TSX wagon in the states instead of up here still makes no sense to me.
I'm just glad people are buying the TSX wagon and seeing it's merits. Won't be long now and we will have to get the proverbial "wagons suck just buy a CRV" post in this thread.

Depends what you are after IMIS...the CR-V is less expensive in AWD trim, so I didn't once glance at the TSX wagon. They do not replace each other in any sense, really, given their designs.

I'd really like to see Acura fix some of the deficiencies of the ILX, then offer a wagon version as they phase out the TSX. The ILX 2.0Tech I drove was a nice car, but in desperate need of a better suspension. I'm not a hp-obsessed car guy so I wont comment on the 2.0 vs 2.4 (or inclusion of ED's). I prefer wagons and an ILX sport wagon really wouldnt compete with the CRV either, since the ILX in actual practice costs as much as a TSX.

The TSX has the Accord's front suspension... better than the Civic's!!

The most expensive CRV- EX-L AWD NAVI- runs around $32KUSD.. which is less than the entry level TSX. Granted, the TSXs seem to be discounted whereas the CRV sells very well.
We went from such a CRV to the TSX wagon. The wagon has more cargo room, more power, handles better, has a more suple ride and has a real gas tank. The CRV is a real bitch on long trips because the Civic sized tank only gives you a 350 (MAX!!!) mile range.
Granted, I wish I had a TSX with AWD... I never really needed but going over the passes in the winter it's a nice thing to have, not really needed but nice reassurance nonetheless.
OH, the TSX Tech has the ESL stereo.... that alone is really worth it.

The TSX wagon has more cargo room than a CR-V?
I'm not even going to go and look that up...there is no way that is possible.

Yes. the CRV is actually not that big because it has a high floor and the middle seat doesn't really get out of the way that much. It really surprised me at first.
If you want lots of room, you get a Fit or an Odyssey. The TSX is not as cavernous as those but has a very useful box. And I think it's wider than the CRV too. I haven't measured it but from the seat of the pant it feels wider.
Hmm.. the Crosstour has a big space too.

I looked at the TSX wagon recently. The useful box is where the limited service spare should be... and the dealer only wanted 900+ dollars for that to be added. Wonderful optioning.

I've just looked it up.
'12 2.4l Xtour is 3664lbs. vs the wagon is 3623lbs.
Xtour is about 2 in wider and 9 in longer.
Maybe it just looks huge.

Maybe you're right. The Crosstour is tall and the sides do stick out so it feel big. Mind you, we had the V6 which is likely heavier. BUT, it's smart off the line for such a big vehicle.
