I spend about $20 a week. By the way, have you figured out what's going on with the anaconda pains?

probably $25 or so. all highlights why all this attention on gas prices is so misplaced when it is a small cost compared to so many other things in life.

About 70 dollars a week driving about 475 miles on one tank in my TSX.

About $70-$120 per week depending on how much I am out-of-country. (Swedish gas prices yes...)

I fill up about every 3 weeks and spend around $50-60 to fill up my TSX (premium gas only).

I used to spend like 130 bucks a week (three FULL tanks).. in the hybrid no less.
Nowadays I think I fill it up like every two weeks... mostly because my wife drives the car a couple of days and that's more than half a gas tank.
If she left my car alone then it'd be like once a month, mostly because I like to keep some gas in the tank in case there's a quake and we need to go somewhere before the tsunami comes over the San Joaquin Hills and washes out our Paradai$e in The OC.
Otherwise I think I could go for five weeks (60 miles per week, 19 gallon tank, 16 mpg).

how did you spend only $20 / month? my accord sucks gas like the hoover dam.
my chest pain is due to anxiety attack on my first week at work. I had difficulty breathing due to adrenalin.

Not thirsty at all, it's all in the drive, that is, how long.
150++ miles per day... six days a week... all but 4 miles on wide open freeways, even at 80mph/40mpg it comes out to lots of dead dinosaurs being pumped out.
It was not a bad drive, though. The I405/I5 and I15 are huge all the way. Only SR78 could be a hassle -only three lanes. Along the Pacific Ocean across Camp Pendleton and against the flow of traffic, so it usually meant just two hours a day (one hour each way). Just enough time to smoke a couple of cigars per day.
With the light traffic and the handling of the hybrid (quiet, low RPM, cruise control) it was rather relaxing, actually.
