it's not looking good for the Honda boys. most are on their last engine except Dario. Is this due to the turbo updates?

this news is quite uncharacteristic from Honda racing.
I hope this is mostely due to constantly making updates and they should be able to make the same updates to the previous engines hopefully or we may not see Honda another race this year.

I don't know the rules exactly but is it not like they just need to take a penalty and can race anyway (10 grid places?) Who knows what is with the competition...
I agree however that it does not look good. After 11 races so far we have to admit Chevy is simply "better" whatever that means in today's racing. Personally I measure it with race wins, poles this season and in that regard the results are Honda-Chevy 3:8 in race wins and 6:5 in poles. We are about to look to another season I guess to win. Looks like Ilmor continues its domination... just changed the racing partner.

The racing is actually really close, I think it comes down to team preparations (Penske) rather than engine supplier at this point. If Chevy was dominating, Honda would be at the bottom half mostly. But it's actually more like a completely even split.

I think everyone forgot the time that ALL of the Chevy engines on the grid had to be replaced, and everyone had to go to the back half of the grid (Chevy also won that race). It's not like this is a surprising development as both companies have kinks to work out.

The real loser in all of this is Lotus- they should just withdraw gracefully.
