It could very well be, but the Camry has such a huge and loyal following. Why, I don't know. My secretary at work chose a Camry over an Accord because the Camry rides like a pillow. I doubt any version of the Accord will sacrifice handling to get to that Buick level of isolation like the Camry. The Camry SE barely brings that car up to a base level Accord for handling.

Conservative Honda typically has problems with all new model launches, so this is almost a given. At least for the first month or two.

Remove these from Camry Sales and the Accord is #1

In Southern California, Camrys are generally available at much larger discounts than Accords. If this is true in the rest of the country, then I believe the Accord will have a hard time outselling the Camry.

What are you talking about? EVERY company has issues with new model start up. It's the nature of the beast. NOBODY launches an all new vehicle without some difficulty. Honda is not more prone to production issues, and if anything seems to have fewer issues affecting customers than other manufacturers. Please elaborate on why you think otherwise.

I don't think that is gonna happen. People who just want basic transportation seem to go with Camry because it is a "safe" bet. The new Altima is a stunner, imo. If only it did not have a CVT. Then there is the all-new Fusion just around the corner. The new Accord has its work cut out for it. It may have to settle for 4th place.
