I just received a recall notice regarding a potentially defective airbag inflator. The recall dates back to 2008 and has been expanded several times. The notice I received specifically mentions the 2002 Odyssey, 2002-2003 Civic, 2003 Civic Hybrid and 2002-2004 CR-V. I have a 2002 Accord so I don't know why I received this notice. I never received one during the previous campaigns. Apparently, Honda is trying to locate about 640,000 defective inflators whose metal casings can shatter during deployment. One child was killed back in 2009. Has anyone had this inspection &/or replacement done?
