I got a conformation from my source that it is the 2WD/4WS RLX.......NOT the TL........TLX Concept is due @ NY most likely and the production to follow in late summer to fall of 2013.......

Yeah, I would think that sounds right. If Acura did it again... making the TL AND RLX the same size, they might as well admit failure again for one of those models.

On second thought, Andrew.... look at the headlights. They don't look like the jeweled and projector beams we saw on the prior RLX postings. Any chance its actually the TLX instead?

AFVM... was this your same source that said the Civic Si would have at least 215hp?
If so, it probably is the TLX ;)
My guess is RLX, maybe the LED lamps will not be standard on every RLX? Maybe part of a $5500 tech package???

No chance.......according to source......You will have to wait for the differences from the Flagship Hybrid AWD and the 4WS FWD......

The inside lights (near the grille) look different than anything I've ever seen on an Acura...or any other car that I can think of off the top of my head.
Weird that the RLX would be testing with an Infiniti G though - unless it's just a coincidence.

It sure is, and sources are not always correct or can be misinformed.......They don't know everything because they are not everywhere......But what ever.......enjoy your basking..... ;-)

yeah, when I glanced through this photo set, the angles of the shots made this vehicle look a little more lithe than the other RLX in the earlier spyshots we published, and then I saw the Infiniti G next to it and that pretty much cemented in my mind that this was the TLX (though as you noted, it could purely be a coincidence, but as I was already thinking this was the TLX, the Infiniti G sedan made complete sense).
I seriously only glanced at the photos for a few seconds before processing and posting them because I was supposed to have shut down my computer and taken my wife to dinner a half hour prior to that point. But Brenda had called me at almost the same time I was heading out the door and told me that she got some shots of the new TL so I made my wife wait until I received the photos, processed them and uploaded them. So now that I'm back home and able to scrutinize these photos more closely, I'm not 100% convinced that this is the RLX but it seems like a much better than 50% chance that it is in fact the base model RLX, and in my haste, I was thrown off by the thinner squigglies of the camo.

I think we're well saturated with camo pics! I hope they don't cost much at this point.

The Camo is REALLY a confusing pattern. As I made the mistake with the Accord last week thinking it was the RLX.......it really messes with your eyes...........I made the call cause I just couldn't keep looking at it......

I think it's the RLX based on the door panel which is identical to the concept. I do not think the RLX was necessarily testing against the G, but I agree it does look rather small in these pictures and the Accord similarities show even more.

I think it's RLX considering how the interior shot of the door is identical with concept.

Yes, nice door...except for that nasty/cheap speaker surround! Hopefully it will have more storage space in the production version too...

Interesting looking speaker. A new high end Audio OEM is suppose to debut on the RL. Looks like a Bowers & Wilkerson driver.

This is the RLX. It appears to look smaller than in previous shots, but the RLX will still be pretty small compared to other flagships.

Why does Acura insist on not offering all (4) auto windows? The second generation RL was the only Acura to have them, not sure if they were removed for the MMC, but in this shot there is definitely only front auto. We have heard many excuses such as liability reasons, but no one else seems to be concerned with the liability issue and are offering them.

Thats what I am thinking..........However, the Pioneer OEM drivers in the present Accord are yellow too.

FWD model should be competitive considering this official info:
A "Sneak Peak" at What's Coming in 2014
2014 Acura RLX
"The RLX will be offered in a 310 horsepower, front-wheel-drive version, which will deliver superior handling performance through the application of a new Acura technology—Precision All Wheel Steer™."

This. My girlfriends lowly IS has the auto function for all the mirrors as does my car. It's annoying when I have to hold the button in my sister's Elantra.

I hope you're kiddin' as I really do NOT want any paws in my 50k+ car. But I surely will say hello to our neighbour's cat, one would never imagine she would make it to the high-tech world of luxury cars. Meow, meow, my paws are gonna steer ya like no others!
I will at the same time make sure my garage is dog-proof.
