Sedan:
Is it daring? Not really, but I keep falling back on the new Camry as a lesson in this case.
I see a melted 2012 TSX interior a bit when I look in there, but the glaring angles and odd plastics I was fearing are not here.
I am still wondering about the front to rear 3/4 styling due to that shape back there that I can't see totally yet, but no matter, this seems like it will be good for Honda.
Coupe:
Not quite sure on this one, and this was my market from Honda. The profile of the current coupe always bugged me, even when I owned one...I never could "unsee" it. From concept to now, it just appears to have the same shadow.
In any event, it looks like they got the bread and butter right with the sedan.

As for the rear, I'm seeing a slightly softened rear shoulder line of the last gen Volvo S60, without the devil horn taillights - very nice if it turns up that way...

Not sure about the headlight detail though. You can see the cover glass kind of indent/recede on the bottom LED strip. It could potentially alter the overall front look once the camo comes off...
The new sedan looks better compared to the outgoing US model, yes... but it would be nice if Honda designed it in the same vein as the Euro Accord. Lower, sporty looking.
I'm positive it will look nicer than the new Camry though, despite the non-offensive styling.

Can't see much otherwise I will go blind but seems like they are loaded it up with features, which is good, but we don't know what they are cutting out where we don't see it. Maybe it will be torsion beam LOL not just kidding.
The overall shape.. unless there is magic camo I think the design weak point is the rear, seems too long for the car when viewed from front making that weird shape.

The thing is, I think the Fusion will be a serious contender this time around. Heck, I think it could be in the top 3. It's going to be very competitive for family sedans, and a mild improvement may not cut it. A lot of it will come down to the ED execution too.
The design overall looks pretty clean, at least from the side and rear. Greenhouse is a lot nicer and the proportions are less awkward than what we have now. Big question to me is the front. It looks like a cross between the current-gen and the 6th-gen Euro Accord. That combined headlight-grill language has actually worked well for some new Hondas like the CR-V and Euro Civic. If it works well here then it could be a nice looking car. Skeptical though.
Actually like that interior design with the clearer shots. I just hope that's not faux-metal--which it probably is.
