Rough rendering of the sedan based on the 1st pic of this article. Wheels are from the coupe concept.
Here's the same file showing the rendered portions at 50% opacity, to indicate where the hard points overlay the swirly preproduction prototype.

This is excellent. Thank you for spending time to give us a much more clear vision of the final product. I looks pretty good actually. I hope you got the grille and headlight combo down right. I like how is looks elongated/stretched. It's a nice modern touch.
If you could do a photoshop of the rear I'd love you even more than I do now. Not to sound greedy though.

Good job. Thanks for tackling this as it gives us a better idea of what it looks like without the camo.
I've been very curious about how the tail light will look from the side since it's covered in the pics. I think it may look very similar to what you've done.

Looks pretty good but sedan HLs are different design then coupe ones. And upper part of the TLs is white/clear.

Thanks for the feedback and positive responses! Keen observations on the lights....yes, I just swapped in the coupe's out of expediency, and the tails, I neglected, out of expediency as well. lol. Its massively time consuming to do this as the swirly camouflage is really effective.....I end up swapping out entire body panels as a result. I used a crv as a base as it has similar contours/reflections/shadows. Anyways, sorry but I won't be undertaking another for awhile I hope.

Nice job! Thanks for helping us to envision what the final product will look like.
My only observation is that based on some of the camouflaged side shots (particularly photo #10 from this thread), I think that the Hofmeister Kink will be quite a bit more pronounced than you show in your rendering. I hope that's the case... the less prominent one looks like a previous gen Optima.
Anyway, despite my earlier reservations based on the first spy photos, I'm now thinking that the final product may actually end up being pretty attractive. I definitely like what I see so far with the dashboard.

Definately an improvement over the current sedan, which is the frumpiest Accord ever. Hell, the current sedan makes the 03 into a beauty queen!

Nice effort. Thanks a lot, it does give us a better idea of what is coming. Sure you had to comprimse and take things from other images, but to do this on your time a share it with us is just something I commend.
If someone wants something more detailed I guess they can either spend a few hours working their photoshop magic, or wait for the camo to finally come down.

It's so funny, because I would have NO IDEA on how to do this on a computer........I am sure it is not easy, but I am always amazed at how things can be made to look.......I was fooled last month with a PS game, I thought it was real..........
Good job ciwai08

Now we can finally confirm Honda has outsourced their design department to India.

Certainly a valid point, and I could easily have taken the coupe concept and based any revisions off of that, but wanted to try a different technique of using an unrelated vehicle that had similar form language; and of course.....goes without saying, basing it precisely off the pre-production vehicle photographs.
The crack about the India outsourcing (when its based off of honda studio work!) is really of the most ludicrous, 5th grade mentality that really makes you want to puke. Its unfortunate that this site that is so knowledgeable in terms of engineering and everything else about vehicle production is so immature in terms of the design process.

Thanks for that, my eyes are more comfortable looking at this than the camo one. Not sure if I like the shape of the rear end..

Aha! I've found out what the rear finally reminds me of. A Versa sedan... no not very flattering at all... there's some major bangle butt going on here and the way the tail lamps wraps around is a bit unsettling, but I think ciwai08 just had some trouble figuring out the rear lines and lamp shape (there's very little to go off of back there anyway).
I'm really anxious to see how the rear end turns out. Hoping for some unique taillight design and proper proportions.

Let me upgrade my fifth grade mentality to the sixth grade by saying China can do a much better job at knockoffs by helping Honda copy BMW designs. Go Honda Dongfeng!
