One of the Toyotas just did a spectacular somersault after getting clipped by a Ferrari!
The JRM ARX03-A LMP1 car is eighth.
The Starworks ARX03-B LMP2 car is currently third in class.

Both ARX03-As are out, and the Starworks ARX03-B is leading LMP2, seventh overall.

anyone just hear that?!?!? The eurosport commentator was having a interview live with Stephen Ericksson and Nick Wirth. And apparently Honda will return to Sports Car racing as a factory Entry in 2013??

What a challenging race for all of the teams. Good show for Honda with a decent finish in LMP1 and the win in LMP2. Solid results for Nissan.

They were probably talking prototypes, but hopefully Honda will race a NSX too.

Yes i think they were talking about a factory LMP1 effort. When asked the question Erickson and Wirth deflected the question. To be fair I cannot wait if this turns out to be true!!! in 2013 I think the rules state that all cars must have a canopy ( no open top factory LMP1 cars) and also, any factory team in LMP1 must be hybrid?? please correct me if im wrong but that is what i heard on eurosport
So honda factory LMP1 hybrid in 2013 against Audi, Toyota and Porsche??! i CANT WAIT!!

The real news is that Audi won with a hybrid! History.
Well done to them in being able to incorporate the flywheel system into their new car and make it last the 24 hours.
I'm sure this will give them great kudos in their marketing of their road going hybrid vehicles - which I'm sure will owe absolutely nothing to the hybrid system in the race car. :)
