A "never-give-up" performance from Justin Wilson saw the popular veteran come from behind to win Saturday night's Firestone 550 at Texas Motor Speedway, the third consecutive IZOD IndyCar Series race victory and 1-2 finish for Honda in 2012.

Not necessarily. With about 40 laps to go Power got a drive through penalty for blocking Kanaan. Kanaan damaged his front wing in the ensuing contact - had that not happened it may have been a very different result, with Chevy powered Kanaan and Power 1 & 2???

That was certainly a possibility. I suspect that the motors have been closer that we've been led to believe. IMO in a few of the earlier races, had Honda frontrunners not been taken out they might have had better earlier results. At Texas, I think Dixon had the field covered and it could also have been a Honda 1-2-3 even if Power and Kanaan didn't come together.

There were so many stories...did Barrichello just 'chicken out' when the engine failed to start? What about Marco (Parko) Andretti.... dude, the fire was OUT! Franchitti really sucked it up and drove a bad car for points (see Marco? that's why he's a champion). Tagliani shows us again why he's only ever won ONE race.
