Yes..definite 6th-Gen influences in the tails, if the motion blur isn't throwing things off much. And I, for one, thought those gullwings looked really good!
As for the front, yeah, maybe some Concept-C/6th-Gen mashup.
Hopefully we see some daylight shots minus all the covers in the next couple of weeks!

my wife said the exact same thing. Her parents have the 02 sedan and it immediately stood out to her.

I own the 6th gen coupe and still think its the prettest car ever made. Its no wonder I like the 9th gen so much. hehe! I can't wait to drive this thing and maybe trade up!
but I hated the 8th gen.

How funny, I think the 8th gen coupe in V6 form is one of the most well designed coupes ever...........not just by Honda, but by any manufacture..........
In black, white or silver, tinted, with the right wheels and lowered 2 inches..........REALLY, you all think that car is not a feat of incredible design........I dreamed that is I ever had the money I would take that body, make it a convertible, put the SH-AWD power-train in it from a 6 speed TL, it could be done........And have the most KICK ASS car around........

looks too heavy bloated and american. The 9th cleans up the design and makes it tight and oldschool honda ish....which is what I used to like about Honda.
The 8th gen represents everything that is wrong with Honda and the 9th represents Honda returning to Hondian roots.

Sadly, the downwards pointing exhausts are coming back too. I ended up replacing the stock mufflers on my old 6th gen coupe with CL Type-S mufflers, but it doesn't look like there will be bumper cutouts for straight back exhaust tips this time, just like the 7th gen pre-MMC Accords.
