Looks like it was primered. Ready for a finish coat. But I wouldn't drive it like that. Not a Lexus anyway. I'd wait for a nice glossy paint job.

Looks like the finished product. Matte finishes have gained some popularity. Obviously this isn't a factory paint job but I bet this is a custom job.

The tail lights yes, they are very similar shape. But the Accord has more angles and less curves.

The rear overall is not ES because the rest of the lines are totally different. Creases come down from the lights and the cove for the plate is wider and more sculpted. Bottom reflectors are also not on the Lexus.

But I do see your point. I actually see more of a new GS in it because the ES is more tame looking and curvey and the Accord looks more angry, even though the tail light shape is definitely more similar to the ES.

You're X-ray vision must be MUCH better than mine, because other than the fact both cars have tail lights that extend into the trunk lid, and both are longer than they are tall, I can't see enough detail on the blurry Honda to make much of a comparison.

As long as they are big and VISIBLE, have YELLOW/ORANGE turn signal I do not care if they are rectangular, curvy, ellipsoid, etc.
Point of having back signals is for Others to SEE what you do or what you plan to do. YOU as a drive will NEVER see them unless you sit in the trunk and watch them with passion so all this discussion has no point...

Lets take this silliness of amber rear turn signals a step further. How about green when the car is in motion, amber when the the gas pedal is not activated and red for stop? As the laws become more complex (as they will with added control of the citizens) we can add a myriad of these shades to indicate what we are doing in the car as well. What color to use when a person is on a cell phone, texting or playing the radio too loud? The possibilities are endless with color changing LEDs. Just saying is all:)

A lot of contries do regulate the color of the turn signals. And I actually think it is a good thing.
Your ramblings are really pointless.

Whats silly about Amber turn signals? They are standard everywhere in the world except the US. Wont be long until Amber is the only color for rear turn signals here to.
