We only had the budget for this one shot, however. There's another shot showing the direct-on rear and a new closer up shot of the front end. I figured this one angle offered us the most bang for our limited budget.

I don't know what to make of the design bits that I can see...I will still be surprised if this is an NA car.

I like it too. Has more road presence, and a high trunk line.
I think the photo can be "cleaned" a lot with photshop. Any takers??

Sorry if this was discussed sometime before, but I am fairly new to TOV. What does a budget have do to with taking a picture and uploading it? Or do you have to "buy" the spy shots from Honda itself?

The spyshots are purchased from the people who take them, like paparazzi shots of celebrity babies, etc.

KGP Spy Photography (from the label on the spy picture) is probably trying to bank on the pictures they took. They gave out the first two yesterday and left us hanging without a rear shot so probably feel they want some credit. TOV would have to buy the rest of the spy shots at a too high premium, if I'm gathering correctly.
My recommendation is to get the photo company off to one of the bigger auto journal sites and sell them there. They have more money to shell out than this small-ish community. Then maybe we could just view the pictures there.
Again, I could be completely wrong and rambling based on what seems to me a reasonable explaination. I'm sure Jeff has better insight.
Btw, it's really great that TOV managed to get these anyway. Always on top of the spy shot system. Many thanks to Jeff and the rest of the team here.

Frankly speaking I would not pay them a cent for such lousy picture; they should be happy enough if somebody publish their picture with their logo.
How do you know it is not photosop? and tomorrow you will be offered the same picture but clear picture for 10x more.
What a crooks trying to cash in such blurry stuff.
And you guys must have some kind of income from this site otherwise I do not see a point of spending your Own money just to 'be in' or 'popular' or 'talked about'. I do not think you are kids anymore and crave for peer acceptance.

I think the guy that shot the photos sold them to KGB after those first two were published, so the set containing those 2 plus 3 more was offered to me this AM.
Not all of them cost us money (thanks to those who submit their own shots here!) but any that you see here from the agencies are all purchased by us.
And that wasn't meant to be a plea for donations but a few have come in and for that we are extremely thankful as they help offset the cost of the photos. I was mainly explaining why you only see the one pic here out of the set, because the question would otherwise have come up at some point.

Fantastic to see the back of the car (check out the full-on rear shot) actually looks to have had the same level of attention as the front and side. The current car was pretty awesome from the front and side when it debuted. The back is definitely a let down.
I know this is the plug in hybrid shot, but I'm hoping the 'regular' cars have the LEDs out back as well. Looks pretty classy and premium in the spy shot. The back of the spy pic looks like what the '13 GS was suppose to look like *smile*
