Wife texted her initial impressions...
"Much easier and more fun than the Crosstour"
Nice blue color too.

Hmmm.. delicious! yummy!
Just sat on the TSX for a bit, checked it out, turned ELS to KUSC... wow... I really missed that stereo. Lots of speakers and _that_ center channel. No more DVD-A but I guess it takes DVD with DTS. I wonder, I wonder if it will take 24/94 WAV via USB (likely not... bummer).
The whole interior fits a bit tighter than the CrossTour but the package is sooo nice... the multi level dash is spot on, the car has all those little things that have always made Acuras such a nice deal and so up market from Hondas...
The steering wheel feels so meaty and the leather so nice.
And the way Acuras have a way of being muscular where Hondas are not ( and when they try, like the CT, they fail).
( Please ignore the current TL version... yikes).
Tomorrow I get to drive it to work.. Maybe I'll take the long way?
I love that blue. Is both dark and bright at the same time.
Acuras are a well made suit, Hondas are chinos and polos.

Congrats, Tony.
Just so you know, it does still support DVD-A playback. Also, the total output in the wagon is 460w, vs 415w in the sedan.

Tony, isn't this car pretty similar to the Honda Euro-Accord Tourer?

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. I've been in the TSX and the Crosstour. I'd say they are similar in quality and materials. Yes, the TSX may have slightly better HVAC controls, and the dash top material is nicer, but other than that, I think they are very similarly finished.

(1) Yes, the TSX is the Euro Accord. Our Wagon is their Estate.
(2) No, the TSX is much nicer inside than the Crosstour. We spent like four weeks driving a loaner Crosstour with Navi, and while the controls are similar, the TSX has a much nicer finish. There were items of omission in the Crosstour that made me feel like Honda did not want to spend the money in a niche car. The TSX is based on a larger production car so it shows.
And the TSX wagon has a power liftgate... that really surprised us.
