It should not be that difficult to look at a car with minimal camo and be able to tell whether it's a $25k family sedan or a major Japanese automaker's global flagship sedan!
Nobody looks at a BMW or Lexus with camo and debates whether or not its a 3 series or Camry.......
That hybrid SH-AWD better create one hell of a driving experience.

and before some wise guy says something:
Meant to say nobody confuses a 7 series with camo for a 3 series.

or both! ... you can have it ALL. A new slogan for John Mendel's Acura.
Why settle for exciting, beautiful or luxurious alone?... when you can have predictable, geriatric, and dull added to the same package. Acura... because the name "Lexus" was taken.

but people all the time confuse the all new 5 with the all new 3
80,000 dollars for the V8 Xdrive 5 in canada...and 35,000 for the 3series...and they look the same.
So...yahhhh I kinda just owned you. did it hurt?
and just to hurt you even harder....LOOK AT THIS:
Ur eyes should be burning now...its very ugly and very bland....kinda makes me sick to my stomach.

All BMWs look too similar now. Chris Bangle robbed them of the designs that helped make them Ultimate Driving Machines. I still see BMW 7series from the mid 90s and think they are gorgeous. That was the last generation of 7series that really stood out as a luxury car design IMHO. Since then the design has been morphed in with the 5series and 3series and become generic.
More power to Audi, Porsche and Jaguar for putting out something that can clearly be distinguished as exclusive and attractive.

Bangle gave them something that was truly their own... the lighted round eyes. He's been gone a long time, and BMW hasn't progressed their design. If anything, they've duplicated it over and over. So I don't see him as the problem in the generic issue.

I think that camo tones down the overall presence of the car. The one at the show really stood out for me. I thought it had real heft but nice elegant lines.
Personally, I like the 7 series and the A8. I mean really they're just big versions of their siblings. It's hiue across most luxury brands; 3 tiers of sedans looking mostly like eachother minus a longer wheelbase. I think the RLX actually differentiates from the TL and lower such quite well. The beak here really works for me and should stand out nicely. The front fender line is another que which IMO shows nicely.
It was pretty clear when the photo was released that most were pretty impressed if it were to be the Accord. It HAD PRESENCE and that honestly doesn't fit the Accord right now.
Honestly I loved everything about the concept minus the last gen Camry head lights... that shape is forever ruined now...

I have to agree with Powered by Honda here......a lot of BMWs and Audi's look very similar...
I often have to look closer to see if a certain BMW is a 3, 5, or 7....same thing for audi...A4, A6, and A8 are sometimes hard to tell the difference......worst of all would be Q5 and Q7....
In terms of overall road presence, I have to say the MB S class is the best in that segment and I can easily tell it's a S class and not a C or E.

The S Class has the stance and presence that says get the F out of my way you peasant I'm high ranked human and I can buy and sell you without blinking!
The RLX has the same presence but looks like an accord as well. Honda DNA. Dont get me wrong the S class looks like a C - Class and has MB DNA, so nothing wrong with family genes. But the C class screams "Im leasing this for 290 a month because I'm barely scrapping by and couldn't afford a loaded accord." Which is 100's more per month btw in canada.
My buddy drives a 3 series and everytime he sees a loaded EX-L cr-v or accord he says "damm rich people"
CRV OTD is 40k here and accord same.

I'm pretty sure you can't get a C for $290 a month straight up in Canada. that monthly rate would require thousands of downpayment with a 16,000 annual km limit. You get what you pay for at the end of the day. no one's giving these superior cars away, it's just ppl are willing to pay a bit more for a better car.
