Scott Dixon was unstoppable Sunday on the streets of Belle Isle Park, fending off all challenges presented by his fellow IZOD IndyCar Series competitors, a two-hour race stoppage for track repairs and even a spot rain shower once the race resumed to win the Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix and lead a 1-2-3 sweep for Honda.

Good to watch and read. But this hole in the track was ridiculous. After winning on oval and the most important race of the season - Indy 500, now we get a 1-2-3 at the street course. Good. We will see how it all continues but the last two races seem to bring Honda some luck working together with the latest changes to the power unit :)

(1) Takuma "Crash" Sato DNF's again....

(2) How symbolic that there would be potholes on the Detroit Race Track. Perhaps the UAW paved the track.. on a friday.

(3) It remains to be seen if GM attempts to come back with changes. It does look like HPD has resolved the power issues in the street tracks. Did they resolve the pop off issues that they ran into during Indy qualifying? That was at WOT with higher boost that the race, right?
