Kinda agree, I'm not a teenage so I would never be caught driving a Scion.


The only Scion I see teenagers and college age students driving is the Tc. The xB and xD or whatever x-series they sell now are predominantly driven by older adults in my area.

I suspect that the FR-S will probably be out of reach for the vast majority of the teen/college crowd. It's about 5.5k more than the Tc, when looking at base prices, and the insurance is surely going to be more costly on a smaller, purpose-built sports car than a nearly mid-size coupe built on an FF sedan platform. The limping economy also makes it much harder for young people to find good jobs, so that means fewer people in this age group who can afford to buy it.

Any half-sane parent would not buy their teenager this car either, unless their kid is both unusually responsible and has the training/experience to handle an FR sports car.
