Lower intake is one big intake that goes all the way across - which I don't think I've seen on a Honda before (kind of on the Odyssey I guess). Also looks like the chrome trim that went around the bottom of the mesh grille on the coupe concept also goes around the bottom of this grille.
Biggest differences I can see is in how the roofline works into the trunk. The C-Pillar is much different on this car. It will be a very short trunk lid. And the hood and entire front quarter seems taller to me. I know we can't see much, but it just seems like it will be a more "substantial" design than the current car (if that makes any sense). With the changes under the hood I think the car will be very good. I can't believe how competitive this segment is going to be. The Sonata is going to get left behind.

The C-pillar itself isn't too different; the greenhouse just seems to slope a bit more in the rear.
As for the tallness of the hood; it's probably due to the fact that the entire thing is covered in blankets.
I too believe that the rear will have a short decklid (oh god yes. I love this and short overhangs so much), but it may be blankets playing tricks with our eyes.

I don't know. Heavy camo and padding can certainly make the rear end look longer, but not shorter. It definitely has a shorter rear end, I mentioned that in another post.
I know we discern much, but why weren't they able to get a full head on shot of the back? We only get two pics that show us somewhat the rear, but it's at a steep angle, yet they caught some nice pics of the front....

Pretty sure that picture is of a new Chevy. Possibly the Impala or SS. Those two tail lights segments are pretty rutine for newer chevys, a la camaro.
Also just noticed, there's a second camo-ed car infront of the subject car. Interesting.
If it is a Honda (and my bets are that it's not) having two prototypes out at once seems risky, if not beneficial for us. Keep on the look-out everyone!

That's an Ohio mfg plate. I think the Chevy's are all Michigan.

Honda sometimes use older Accord generations design elements in newer designs. I am getting a 5th Gen vibe to this upcoming design. Notice the Bangle back, which really isn't Bangle's. Honda had it first back in the late 90s.

I don't think it's a Chevy, unless they're coming out with a new sedan. From what I can see, it's definitely not the '13 Malibu, '13 Impala, or Cruze.
While I can't say for sure it's the new Accord, whatever it is, I can see enough to make me think I will like it.
As longhorn pointed out, it has some resemblance to the '94 Accord which was one of my favorites and IMO one of the most sporty looking Accord sedans.

I don't see a Chevy in there either.
The camo makes a pretty good job, but I think the proportions look pretty close to the ones on the previously spotted Accord... If only the picture was made an an angle we might have been able to tell for sure...
Those don't look like LED backlights, what do you guys think?

Looking closely, it looks like the taillights have those "floating" led strips. Kind of like BMW's and new Mercedes vehicles. Here is what I mean:
While looking for that pic, I came across something that caught my eye. That previous camo-ed car almost looks like the new Lexus ES.

I would love that. 5th Gen is my favorite Accord as well. If they wern't so old now I would probably have one as a daily driver. My sister in Law has a 04 GTO, and recently bought an 94 Accord Coupe for driving in icy conditions....I was a little jealous.

xAbSoLuTexZeRo, I see a little Lexus also. It also reminds me of the pre mmc Genesis a little bit too.
@ TheGandalf, doesn't look like LEDs to me either. Like the other person said, they could be behind a lens which I think looks more tasteful. I'm not even sure the new Accord will offer them, but if so I would expect them on the touring trim only. The car in the picture may be a trim under the touring.

@according2kev
That would be nice (the leds behind a lens) I also agree that looks better than just the individual lens shining through.
I do think the Touring will likely have HIDs (light the Ody Touring Elite) and hopefully led tail lights.
I would be great (and along the competition lines) if they were also included in EX-L trims.
I am pretty certain the car in the picture is a lower trim (EX, LX or Sport) as the rear view mirror has the little lever for night mode and not a auto diming one.
The first pictures posted don't seem to be the Touring either as the right side mirror doesn't seem to have the little extra to house the camera that Honda is supposed to be introducing for the blind spots (as seen on the coupe Concept and future CT).

That's an incredible deduction... kudos to you. I would have never remembered what kind of camo the ILX wore lol.
I think I'll finally accept that this really is an Accord.
But with a grain of salt... those tailight patterns are nothing to get excited about. Boring, squarish, two-toned lamps... Hope the camo is hiding something more unique.

With only a few months to go, shouldn't all this testing be done? What changes could they possibly make a this late date? I would think that the cars design and mechanicals are locked in by now. Can't wait for better pics. I am optimistic.

If the trunk gets any shorter, they might as well make it a hatchback. The trunk area might be big but you can't get anything taller than a pizza box through the opening. A less sloped rear window would be nice.

For some reason the lower bumper gives me a early 7th gen vibe...there are several of these cars in line...I wonder why there is ONLY one pic?
I'll be glad when this car finally comes out, its been a long wait for this, the Altima and an even longer one for the new Mazda6.

And what is wrong with 'squarish two-toned lamps'???
- You like current puny almost invisible back lights?
- You like single tone one? All red so you have no idea is it stopping, signaling or has hazard signals on?
- Back light should be VISIBLE and should be red for stop orange/yellow for signal. Anything else is dumb design.

Don't worry. Honda normally changes the color from White/Red/Yellow to Red/Pink after the first year of production in the Accord Sedan.
Plus, I'm not so sure this is it.
The covers of the Coupe Concept are clear plastic; here, it's red and white.

This is not Accord. Have you guys seen Honda using that kind of camouflage in their prototypes?

Not sure if that was sarcasm or not.
ClementZ pointed out that they used something similar if not the same for the ILX.

I think the RDX used it too.

Both of which are Acura products. They used similar camo on the ill-fated Front Mounted NSX replacement.
I don't think I've ever seen Honda use this on their own brand. They normally resort to blankets and tape (lol)
Idk. That might be the RLX.

Ah, I see. Thanks for clearing that up. I'm so used to Honda/Acura being grouped together.
My apologies BachelorFrog.

For this to be the RLX it would have to be a very simplified mule...
The taillight don't look to me RLXy enough and this car had no autodiming rear view mirror... And some shapes don't match what I (and how would a be wrong ;p) what I am expecting from the Concept (like the bottom edge of the trunk lid)
On the other hand you are right about this camo being what Acura has used before. However Honda in Europe (yes a know the TSX is the Euro Accord) has used it too.

If you support the amber turn signals, then sign my petition. I'm not sure if it will do anything, but might as well try!
