First, Neal, now you have me contemplating the Basque Red!
Second, Jeff, Andrew, Neal, other Honda-connected folks: at the risk of belaboring this point, does it still look like the 2013 Accord is on-track for a "normal" fall introduction, or might it be moved up a little? (I'm going to be in the market in October or so, and am hoping that some of the early production bugs are worked out by the time I pull the trigger, not to mention that I'm hoping for a little bit of negotiation room for my broker, if need be; he usually works with the fleet managers, but I don't know how things work with a new model in higher demand.)
Has Honda started the final build-out of the 2012s, and are the dealers now getting their final allocations? How far in advance of public sales does production of a new model usually start, and when are the dealers informed of initial allocations?

It seems like everything is on track for a normal fall introduction. It will probably go onsale in the mid- or perhaps late September window.

All new models should come out in spring or summer. That way we can enjoy the newness of our cars before the schmutz of winter befouls our beauties.:)

I always thought like that. The new Caddy ATS comes out this summer. The way it should be!

Amen to that!!
Though if you get a good polish job, it softens the blow!
(Here's hoping that 3M will have the ClearBra kits available ASAP after launch; that was my mistake on my '06, with touched-up chips underneath the plastic--wasn't able to get the ClearBra applied until a year later.)
