Hello Tony, I'm genuiney curious here. What benefits is there with a one or two year lease? Does it not spoil the fun to know that both cars will be returned relatively quick, making the reliability of the cars pretty much a "who cares".
In my case, I've been enjoying my Si for 6 years now, and it's a pleasure to enjoy the true benefits of owning a Honda, including reliability, and the fun to drive factor that just doesn't change over the years. With a lease, I would hardly have a clue what the car is really all about, and I feel that you dont have time to convert the money you would pay into the benefits and value the net dollar amount should be returning to you.
I hope to learn something about your reasons for leasing so much, I don't see the financial or other tangible benefits of it.
Thanks
Employee leases are now for one year, and there can be two at a time. As these are subsidized by the company, the cost is very low. Indeed, my wife will be charged a big chunk of imputed income (thanks -not- IRS....)
The end result of a one year lease, and two at at a time, is that we get to drive LOTS of new cars.
We can always buy the car at the end of the lease.
