Not sure why, but on Canadian website still not able to build and price the ILX.

You actually can, but great web design on a consumer site should require some hoop jumping. In this case, the new ILX page was built to a different specification than the rest of the vehicles, which was most likely a blown requirement by Acura, or the programmers dropped the ball, and there apparently is a lack of testing after the fact. The "build and price" functionality has to be accessed from the top menu for the ILX at this point.
I do this stuff for a living, so for the site to not match is puzzling to me. I write requirements for things like this and manage the execution. If I came to work on the live date of this site, and this is what was there, my ass would be grassed, and then I would go down the list of people who I needed to yell at.
Basically, it is pretty tough for something like this to be an accident, especially when the rest of the site is designed the way you were expecting. This leads me to think it was intended, which as you found out, is pretty stupid.
Also, that is a pretty flattering picture of the ILX...why didn't they just put it behind the brick wall while they were at it?

Well...that was creepy, and glad I took a screenshot, because they fixed it just now.

Because this way it looks as big as a TSX? ;-)

LOL @ the ILX being listed as a performance sedan.

^Saw that, too - hehe! I was under the impression that this car is all about the "luxury badge" and features? I must be mistaken.
I have no real problems at all with the ILX. It's a fine car and I enjoyed my day with the 2.4. But it's a few thousand dollars overpriced (for my liking) and its positioning seems to change from week to week. And with a more reasonable price I'd certainly consider one - if not only to support the Great Honda.
Still anxious to see if anyone here takes the leap - especially after some staunch defense, justifications and rationalizations. A great car for 2007.

Yeah, I think the white with black interior and some 18" HFPs would look pretty handsome - and a slight drop, too.

Which Acura Mastermind left the Navi off the 6 speed is a mystery.
Probably the same guy that gave the go-ahead for the ZDX.

Thank you for the response dcr......
I found that picture ridiculous also when first visiting the site. Acura has dropped the ball badly in many respects on this vehicle. Instead of producing commercials on the NSX due out in 2015, they should focus on what they intend to sell in 2012.

Yes, I think that is new. NH788P code, which also seems to reference White Orchid.
