@civicw Would you post the link to that quotation? I'd like to read it.
I have a lot of faith in Iwamura, and I dont think he'll let the Accord take the same road the new Civic has taken... even if its an evolution of the same structure as the current Accord. It will be evident then that John Mendel needs adult supervision in his role at Honda which is tantamount to 'easily expendable'.

But how?
While the two Civics are the same size (9th and 8th gen), this Accord is supposed to be smaller than the old Accord in every way.
I don't see how similar styling could be carried across without looking weird.
