I will be in the market for a new car in June.
My question is: should I wait until the 2013 Civic Si shows up or go ahead and take advantage of the lease program / mfr. incentives the 2012 has...
If it's a 2012, it will be a Si coupe w/ summer tires. Sedan is more useful, but I won't by a Honda that looks like an old Camry, and we have a '12 Ody already.
My only concern is... will they upgrade the actual K24 to something more powerful? what do you guys think?

I would wait. You will have another bargaining point since you can argue that the '13 is here and is better so that you can get a better price for the '12. On the other hand, if the '13 isn't much better, you can argue for a better deal for the new model. Also, I'd imagine dealers would want to clear out the '12 models once the '13 cars are here.

My sentiments exactly.

I would personally take the risk and wait for the 2013 Si Sedan. It's more practical, and hopefully Honda will fix the bad case of ugly-rear. Also, the interior quality should improve significantly.

Do it now, the Si will see the least change of them all........Do you want to pay $30 to $40 bucks more a month for a few cosmetic changes? It's not worth it. If it was an LX, I would wait, but the Si is a very well equipped car with a very nice interior..........

I work at a Honda Vendor, so I am not worried about negotiating prices... but I am sure the lease program and the incentives available today are not going to be active when the '13 shows. As a reference, you can drive off the lot an LX for 199 nada down today... and it is a Civic, not an Elantra.
My concern is that I won't be able to put my claws on a '13 Si may be until the end of the year... and I will need a car sooner.
I drove both the sedan and the coupe and both have the same feeling, but being 6'2 I feel the coupe's roof closer to me.
On the other hand, the coupe shares headlights with the sedan, something that didn't happen with the previous model and definitively conditions the looks of the car in the front. The coupe deserves its own headlights, IMO.
