I contact my dealer for a price (CAN$):
ILX Tech with transport and preparation: 34700$
Lease (no detail): 588$ for 48 months
Buy: 60 months at 4.5% 748$
Good luck... the Accord EX-L Nav is 1000$ less with better rate !

"Why buy an ILX, TSX, TL, or RL when you can just get an Accord?"
People with that mindset just need to.... buy an Accord already.

I don't want an Accord, this is a price comparison. I would like the ILX but not at this price.

Flem, they will probably be discounting them after the "new" wears off.

I think most people would get the Accord. After all, Honda is selling the Accord at like 30000 per month. Acura on the other hand is only targeting to sell around 3000 ILX per month. That's a huge difference. It means that Honda thinks most people will want the bread and butter Accord, but for the rare 10 - 15% of the people, they might be interested in something with a more upscale feel in a smaller package along with more features.
The lease sounds kind of high though....considering Acura is having this $398/month lease offer (3.5%) for the RDX in Canada with $7k down.
