WOOOHOOO.... due at the dealers in late May.
Blue.
TSX Tech Wagon.
I better get those In'N'Out stickers ready. Scuderia In'N'Out once again hosts an Acura.
Dad's car ( assuming he can hide the keys from Mom..).

Great color choice, vortex blue is like dyno blue and the Porsche aqua blue. You'll love it.

Great to hear it.. someone else told us it was very nice looking.
We've never seen it.. only car in SoCal next month.
The insurance quote is actually very reasonable on it.

vortex blue was what I was thinking I would get but there are zero of them in inventory anywhere. I saw the white in the showroom and liked it a lot, especially the 2 tone taupe interior, so that's how I ended up with the white. I don't drive it much since my wife has commandeered it. Probably not a bad thing because every time I drive it I weep for the lack of a 6MT.

Congrats! That is such a nice car! I wanted to get a white for my wife but it got too expensive with the Navi-exectuive pack (as it's called in eu) so we got a cheap Audi A3 instead...not nearly as nice but easy on the wallet :)
Congrats! What are the engine options in US?

The only engine option on the wagon is the K24 with AT5SS.
We also wanted to go white but the only car coming into SoCal next month was blue so we grabbed it. White makes a lot of sense down here because it stays cooler under the sun and the light interior is easy to maintain because it seldom rains.
We did get the all weather floor mats... I'm sold on them.
Yeah.. Jeff... I know the MT6 is a dream but for the use it will get the AT5SS is darn perfect.
Now the question will be who drives it? My wife or I. Since she has the longer drive, we figure on getting her a smaller more fuel efficient car.. the Civic. I also priced the insurance accordingly.
What kind of mileage are you getting on the TSX wagon? I figure we should be able to get 27 on the freeway.

you should get 30mpg on the freeway no problem, up to about 80mph. Above that it will dip to 28-29 range.
If you drive on lower speed highways (45-50mph range) with few stops, 35mpg is easy. The round trip commute to my wife's workplace (about 20 miles in suburban driving) nets us 30-35mpg depending upon the time of day (which relates to the frequency of stopping).
if you can keep the tsx moving you will be amazed at the fuel economy. stop and go kills it though. First tank we only got 21mpg but I get the feeling that the car idled forever while the dealer guys were prepping it for us because I drove it real easy for the first 20miles and saw a steady 40-50mpg readout on the instant FE gauge and I only managed to get it up to 7mpg average on that drive (3 gallons gone in ~20miles). the 2nd tank showed 25.9mpg on the trip computer - 15-20% of that tank it was freeway - it actually calculated out to 24 and change (i forget the exact decimal) but i filled it beyond the first "click". I should just fill it until it clicks off each time.
I love the looks of the blue wagon but all the guys at the dealership were telling me I'd be thankful for going with the white as it will have a much better resale value. Also on the heat rejection issue, we've had some hot summer-like days already and combined with the ceramic film tint we put on the windows, the interior stays relatively cool even after sitting out in the direct sun for a long time.

Tony - that is my exact car - TSX Wagon in Vortex blue with tech package. It is a great car and a great color combo!
Only options I added were splash guards, trunk tray and cargo net.
It gets a lot of compliments on the color. The wife backed me up and said "no boring grays this time!" Blue was the only color for both of us!
That said, I think the white Jeff picked out looks very sharp too!

White makes sense for a wagon, no doubt.
But this is a sport wagon :) This blue is awesome and makes it stand out.
