Here are quite a few gorgeous photos of an original NSX juxtaposed with the concept. Inside Line is even kind enough to give fools like me some insight into the designs of the two vehicles.

And here is a massive gallery of the new, old, and Avengers concept

The more I see the original, the less I like the new one. I am getting tired of hearing about concepts, as well.
Build it.

I feel the opposite DCR, I like it...wish it had a few more NSX cues, but overall very nice. Like the fact that it is shorter, wider, and just a fraction taller.
I do agree that it needs to be built, like two years ago, rather than three years away...rather see prototypes zooming around a race track rather than more static concepts too.
Good job by IL with the photos too.

Some of those pictures are poster worthy...
They did make a good point though. The references to its design heritage lies in the detail rather than form.
That's what makes me disappointed by this statement:
Acura officials tell us that their objective is to ensure that the 2015 Acura NSX's dimensions and styling mimic those of the NSX Concept as closely as humanly possible.
I wished Acura would mimic the sharp wedge profile of the original as closely as humanly possible. Concept's still good looking... but there are a number of things I would have done differently.

The new NSX kinda has the old NSX rear tail lights...just FLIPPED upside down. Anyone else see that?

Frankly, it kinda has the One-77's tail lights... flipped upside up.
