All I can see from the photos that base model will have ugly cheap yellow lights.
Why cant they give HIDs and DRL LEDs as standard on a $45+K SUV?

can't tell if you're serious...

if so, those are not the actual headlights - just the typical generic stuff they plug into holes on the mules.

well frog, its because of the floods and tsunami that is causing honda/acura to cut back on production costs. saves you money too when you're 1988 nissan headlights are interchangable with your 2014 mdx. right?

Listen man, you must be smoking some bad weed man. They wont have HID ready until the MMC man. So instead they went down to autozone and got one of these. Its beautiful man.

At the same time though, you have to replace your halogen bulbs a lot more often than your ballasts.

I thought the MDX had HIDs already though - meaning this is generic test mule bolt-in stuff just to keep it barely road legal for testing purposes.

It's too early for those small details. If you didn't realize, those cheap parts were put on to keep it road legal. They were probably testing the suspension or something.

The Advance trim will certainly have the LED headlamps, but the base model might have just regular HID with LED daytime lights.
