Speaking of moms (and dads) picking family cars, my kids like to listen to Radio Disney on XM in the car when we're driving and I've heard some of the ads Honda has been placing on that channel. Maybe a week ago I noticed an interesting advertising score by Honda. During a Honda commercial the name "Honda" is pushed to your radio screen by XM and then it stays displayed on your screen until the next tagged commercial or song begins. The RD people often "go to the phones" so Honda has been paying for 15 or 30 second spots with the result being that, after a Honda commercial, while "Hannah's mom" answers the latest pop star trivia question "Honda" stays on XM radio screens for up to two or three minutes at a time. Brilliant, Honda PR folks! Give yourselves two bonus points each for that one.

Hmm
My wife used to take the bambinos to daycare in the GSR....
She did say it was a little bit of a hassle to put them in there but then she'd take the long, twisty road from daycare to work (and back) and that made it all worthwhile.
But, my wife don't work at Toyota either... ;-)

Likely a Honda...
5 out of top 10, way to go.
Not a Toyota on the list. I guess old men drive those.

I am surprised it isn't a picture of the girl from clueless spitting food into her kids mouth after she chews it.
But I digress... This picture is what has become of America.

I thought XM was having problems of some sort. For the last month or so my car does this on some XM stations. When one song goes off the title will remain on the screen even when other songs are playing. I think I've seen it remain up to 2 or 3 songs.

Same observation here. I've assumed the issue is with whatever system is used to tag the songs and commercials. I've noticed that most of the "live" stuff with DJ's or whatever they're called now never seems to be tagged like it once was with phone numbers and the names of the folks.
