I agree with you. It's a foregone conclusion that the engine, the only engine, will be the Earth Dreams Technology (EDT)(terrible name, btw) 2.4L 181-hp motor. My bet is the Sport model will have a 6-spd MT (great!), decent (and likely different) 17" alloys wheels, firmer shocks & springs but likely the same NHTSA ride height as the other models, and maybe a 22mm rear bar in place of the usual 17-19mm. With a little luck, the front seats may be bolstered differently, but that might involve more cost that HMC is prepared to invest in this model.
I really doubt the Sport model will be an "SE", as that traditionally has been the designation used with last-of-the-model-year Special Edition option.
And, sorry Tony, I have no desire to clutter up a Sport model with navigation systems, comm systems, moonroofs, etc.
I can live with this. This is a decent alternative to the constant whine of a CVT. Here's hoping the dealers order a bunch of them with MTs.
