my 5th gen with bout 90k miles just random started ideling at 1100rpm but its not all the time...its on and off during use. any ides what it my be? or what i should start checking up on? its also started to skip or choke on acceleration. im worried as fuck now??

The idle is normal I think when the car is cold it will rev higher until warm. Leave it on for 10min it should drop to 800rpm.

Choke on acceleration? Spark Plugs, ignition coils, fuel pump, ERG Valve.

Check those. Get new air filter for intake as well and clean the IAC with carb spray.
You may also wanna clean your injectors with some additive if you've used cheap gas for 90k.

At 90K you probably need new spark plug wires and new plugs.

That would explain the missing on accel.

I'd also check your Idle Control Valve, and your throttle cable to make sure it's adjusted correctly.

How long have you had the car? If it's been a few years without much done - or if you don't know the history of it - it's about at the mileage for a bit of maintenance. Spark plugs are a $10 job if you can do it yourself. Distributor cap and rotor are a good, cheap investment - and easy to check. The fuel filter is something everyone seems to forget about. There is a whole list of things that could/should be done for a relatively minor amount of money.

Have you had the timing belt changed yet?
