At least one of IL’s editors seem to like it, echoed by the comments.
One thing I will say: Man, is that an ugly engine cover or what? I kind of wish the 2.4 had the K20’s cast intake manifold instead of the plastic jobby here (I recognize it has much longer intake runners….). I think if it were up to me I’d still pick up a first gen TSX if I wanted a lux car.

...Those exterior photos look pretty good though.

I'm warming up to this car, but something needs to be done about that generic front end... just the top half of it.

Also, ILX Type-R? Not a chance!

I drove the 1st gen and 2nd gen TSX extensively for 3months in Israel and I had about 3x more fun in the first gen...but the 2nd gen was a nicer place to be and felt relaxing. The first gen just made me drive like a mad man and carve the shit outta the mountains both up and down. Felt like initial D. hehehehe

In the end its a hard choice between the 2.

Man Edmunds really knows how to take pics.

and I hate this color!!! but it looks so good in these!

After reading many reviews a couple stating "mini BMW feel" in the ILX and this one I feel the ILX is a 1st gen TSX in a more refined package....eh? nailed it? I can't wait to test drive the 2.4L then not buy it cuz it lacks tech package. hehehe
