I ran out and snapped these super hastily, just so I'd have something to post here. I'll get better pics later when I have time. As part of the deal, they are going to tint the windows with top of the line ceramic film. I just have to take it in either today or monday to have it done.

If I may ask, what is it about the "station wagon" that appealed to you or your wife?

Ha ha nice. That's exactly what we'll be picking up soon, probably the middle of next month.
Did you get a good deal? I saw they have .9% for 48- hopefully that deal is still around next month.

Sweet ride!!! White with parchment interior is a bold choice. With little kids I limit myself to black interiors only.
Enjoy!!!
BTW Edmunds wrapped up their 12month test of the TSX wagon and posted the article today. Averaged 24.6mpg, quite a high for them. Best tank was 33mpg.

I don't like driving SUVs or CUVs (the new RDX is probably the closest to something I could live with), we needed the cargo area so we could occasionally carry the dog with us, and there's no real penalty for handling or fuel economy vs the sedan. And IMHO, the TSX is a good looking wagon.

Beautiful Car Jeff!!!
I guess the two faults you found about this car didn't steer you away from it! (main one as no 6spd manual)..
if i was to get a new car, this would be the one in the same exact color!

the parchment is fine since the floor and lower trim is all dark. My kids are no longer little, either, but even when they were we had several cars with very light colored interiors and there was never an issue. I did have one kid vomit suddenly all over the back of our V70 wagon - red gatorade and "other stuff", yay! I was able to clean it completely though.

I would love a wagon or minivan and we don't have kids. I just think they are very pratical and just like jeff said you don't lose the MPG vs a sedan usually. Can't ever talk the wife into one that she would drive on a regular basis though.
My next daily drive will be something like this though.

What a beautiful TSX wagon.... I was going to wait for Audi A4 Allroad to come out this Summer (another beautiful wagon). But, it's hard to justify the purchase, knowing it costs well more than $40,000 with options and no need of Quattro. I might go for a test drive this weekend.

Gorgeous!
Despite the hastily taken photos, they are better than anything Acura has on their website. The "Build and Price" page in particular does the white no justice. This looks extremely sharp in real-world shots!
If only they offered it with the TL 6MT drivetrain.

I've seen TSX wagons a few times in my area (Cupertino, CA).
Without a doubt I can say TSX is the only wagon in the market that is sexy.

I am sure that you DID NOT mean what you typed my friend. I owned a S2000, and the only thing that you can haul besides your wife is 'maybe' a overnight bag!!

I don't think he was referring to his S2000 about the hauling..

Very nice. Did you get the tech package?
Too bad there's no 6mt available. Anyway, with TSX and TSX wagon available, I really can't imagine the point of getting an ILX.
BMW's X1 will also eat into this segment. Life for wagons will continue to be difficult.

Congrats on your choice Jeff.
Iv just bought a 09 plate EX GT ( UK Accord tourer ) with the I-Dtec engine and auto transmission. Absolutely love the car. Much improved steering over the earlier 2.4 tourer I had which was over light making the car feel kinda vague.
The engine is mega with the auto making it far less inclined to kick down compared to the petrol and is very quiet and pretty quick too. Fuel economy varies hugely depending on where your driving but 38-42 mpg is a pretty good guide which is about 10 mpg up on my old petrol version
Love the colour you've gone for and interior. Makes mine look a bit drab by comparison.
A genuine Honda car, unpretentious and damned good at what it does in a beautifully engineered chassis with mega build quality.
My business partner is Audi obsessed and he is massively impressed by my car, especially as his is seemingly permanently in being fixed !!
