All this nonsense. Just CONCENTRATE on making REAL cars that people will actually want to buy again. How about equipping them with REAL engines with REAL power? All the other crap they are into is a smoke screen for bad product decisions. CR-Zzzzz, Crosstour, ILX, Ridgeline, Element.....LOL etc...etc....I get writer's cramp listing all the terrible car decisions.

A great man once said, "Be ever mindful of the value of research and endeavor." What Soichiro Honda meant, is that a company must always push the edges of their knowledge, even in areas that do not, at that time, appear to be directly related to the core business of the company.
He understood that for people to WANT Honda to exist, the company must do much more than just build excellent motorcycles and cars. From solar panels, to hydrogen refueling equipment, to ASIMO human interface robots, and even aircraft, Mr. Honda KNEW his company MUST expand into these areas and others in order to be a much more horizontal business with broad name recognition and good will from the consumer base across the world.
So, the next time you think Honda should just put their heads down and focus on only one thing, believe that Mr. Honda would violently disagree with that action.

I believe you are badly mistaken. There is zero benefit to the Honda Accords as a result of building Corporate Jets.
If anything, the reverse is true, The Hondajet venture has taken valuable development dollars away from Honda Cars and given them the mess they are in today.
