I know for a fact that this system is totally useless in countries like Indonesia and hope the test would show this.

Traffic in Indonesia is 100% chaotic which at first would seem to be the best candidate for this systems application but not in reality.

Reality is that driver's ethics is zero. Nobody keeps their lane, nobody. It's a traffic jungle with no enforced law. Other drivers will simply take advantage of those obeying this system.

In an Indonesian traffic jam, any driver which leaves 1/2 cars length gap in front of his/her car will get cut off by the adjacent vehicle.
Keep doing that and your commute has just doubled in time which leads to more burned gas.

Agreed... I made a similar comment elsewhere before checking this thread..

Even if it was implemented, I doubt anyone will use it.

Driver mentality in Indonesia is a bit different to the more sensible parts of the world. It's do it now or never.
