Very nice Jeff. All these people on this forum including me getting TSXs or wanting too, and....next to nobody thinking about an ILX. A four year old, rumoured to be on its way out, and still more desirable. I guess none of us are in the intended ILX demographic...
I am getting a consistent 29mpg btw US it seems, all shortish city journeys. It's got a bit better since brand new - and that's probably mostly winter gas. As sixth is so short it'll be interesting to see how much better long highway journeys can be. The auto is geared higher I know. Few SUVs could match this - such a shame the wagon isn't available in Canada, but I guess even though it would probably sell more relative to the sedan than in the States, the market overall is deemed too small. Still, way bigger market than for the ILX hybrid (or the Civic Hybrid even). If Honda sell barely any CRZ, HCH or Insights - none of which are being supplied now - what chance an even pricier hybrid.

Congrats, Jeff. Not my cup of tea, but looks pretty nice. Enjoy the auto trans, old man. Ha

well it's actually more my wifes car but I will drive it from time to time. The rest of the time I will be driving my S2000 or maybe the Odyssey if I need to haul something

Lucky duck, at least you have a manual to still drive. I should have never let my 08 Si go when I bought my Bimmer (auto) and used the Si for a second vehicle. The wife has the CRV for our hauling needs...soon to be replaced by the new RDX, hopefully. Nothing like a Honda manual that I've experienced...well, maybe a Miata. Enjoy!

I ran out and snapped these super hastily, just so I'd have something to post here. I'll get better pics later when I have time. As part of the deal, they are going to tint the windows with top of the line ceramic film. I just have to take it in either today or monday to have it done.

2 words.......YOU SUCK!........LOL, that is HOT! I would have picked the exact car, I love the white and the Tech pkg.......the leather seats look great.......The tint will set it off along with some black chrome 18 inch rims, 10 spoke type........drop it an inch or so.......can't you find a wrecked 2012 Si or 2010-12 manual TSX and swap trannys.......I know, can't do it.......but it would be bad ass......the only one in the states........Are you going to add any noise to the rear or keep it stock?

haha, you could say my taste in music covers a pretty broad spectrum. That particular playlist that was loaded is all over the map in terms of styles

Either that's quite the camera angle or that's one impressively large cargo area back there...

I'm enjoying a mix of the best of Duran Duran, Morrissey and Glen Campbell today...

Glenn Campbell? DD and Morrissey I can see, but I would have never guessed Glenn Campbell :)

Yeah, there's just a lot of lifting "bright colors" to his voice that I for some reason like. A-Ha, ABBA, Boston, Journey, Styx, classic Elton John and Kansas kinda do the same thing...brighter. That, or I watched too much Hee-Haw in 5th grade when I wasn't painting my face with KISS makeup. :-)
Though essentially I listen to (safe) 80's Brit-Pop New-Wave - the art-school stuff that had my parents worried for a while.
Foo Fighters is the only "contemporary" music I'll listen to. And Vangelis (Blade Runner!) and Philip Glass for mood.
Nice car, Jeff! Glad to have helped you pick the color! ;-)

Vangelis did Blade Runner? I knew of 1492 Conquest of Paradise and Bounty...sounds strangely dated now. I am mostly 70s and 80s - only contemporary I have much of is The Nationals - not very bright I know. All the new stuff I hear I get from my kids, and most of it is boring. Made my day when my son said he thought Telegraph Road off Dire Straits' Love over Gold album was the best music he had ever heard...for many people that was their first CD, even if it was still an analogue recording.
Aha's Take on Me was the best pop video ever....as (mis)used once in Family Guy.
I am trying to get these off topic meandering thoughts back to Jeff's TSX, and failing miserably.

Congrats on a great pick!
I added splash guards to my vortex blue as well as cargo net.
What do you thing of another 2 years of Acura Warranty for $799? I have a little while to decide.
How will you make it a Type R? :-)
