I know Honda's heritage has been disappearing these past years, and what worries me the most is that Honda's minders do not seem to be aware of that heritage, and what it's passing means for the future of Honda? Bloody bean counters!
As for the MME, several times I was invited up there to drive one of the DC5s that were prepared in Australia, but I never got around to it. Now my best driving days are behind me :(
The 2005 Outright winner Tony Ricciardello, who drove with Genji Hashimoto and a certain Malaysian driver [ :) ] is a very good friend of mine. The team strategist in that race is one of my best friends, and he still recounts how he "fooled" the works Honda team into changing their tyres for that last pit stop, which went a long way to helping the Amprex team win the race. That along with Tony's heroic last stint.
Prince Ley himself was a very good driver, his exploits in the Australian Lotus Series showed how good he was.
One day I hope to return to Sepang to watch another SuperGT race, and we should catch up and exchange memories :)
Talk about running off topic!! :)

Yes, we are -really- running way off topic. When you do come to Sepang for a SuperGT race, do let me know and we must meet up. Just like when I make my visit to Australia, I hope we can meet up as well. I still remember, it was you isn't it, who made me all worked up when you told me you have a Formula Mugen car in your garage... :D

Yes, I co-own it with the friend whom I mentioned was the team strategist in Sepang. One day soon, we will get around to firing it up and taking it for a blast :)
