One thing a lot of people dismiss is the NEWNESS factor. The TSX is on its 4th year, and close to shutting out while the ILX is brand spanking new. That definitely plays a factor in buying behaviors.
In my opinion, the ILX has a different enough of a exterior design to justify standing on its own vs a tsx. But when it comes down to it, the same argument that I keep hearing is that the TSX is a better VALUE or that the Civic is a better VALUE. Since when did so many TOVers become penny pinchers in looking solely at value in buying vehicles? This is an Acura we're talking about, and they're trying to play in the luxury game but everyone and their moms are talking about value like it's the only thing that matters. Don't get me wrong, it's smart. But why isn't anyone else celebrating more options? It's your money spend it however you want. Why let anyone else tell you how much worth you got out of your money?
