If Acura went the GT concept route it would have turned a lot more heads. The A7 is a beautiful car in pictures and even better looking in person. This is what the RLX should have looked like in my humble opinion.

It probably would turn more heads than the Actual RLX Concept, but honestly I think the A7's ass end looks a little strange from certain angles. It's like they couldn't figure out how to pull it all together properly. It looks awesome from some angles but from a 7/8 rear view or dead on side view, the rear just looks droopy and soft.
I'm normally not a fan of Benz styling, but the CLS is the one that nailed the 4-door coupe look.
Between Neal's two concepts, I prefer the traditional sedan version. I'm not opposed to the "GT" concept but I think the front would need to be reworked to be a little more sleek and aggressive.

I agree with Jeff on the A7. The rear end just does not do it for me. Just looks too strange.
The 4 door coupe look is not an easy one to pull of, but I think Neal nailed it in his RLX GT concept.

Strangely enough, Audi's A7 lower priced cousin the VW CC, I think pulls off the 4 door coupe styling the best out of all the current players. Prior to the recent facelift, that car just looked gorgeous and had real road presence. The Tesla Model S also has a very clean design without some of the drawbacks seen in other 4DCs. But I think that might primarily be due to it being a bit smaller and not having to stretch out the lines of the car.

I was going to mention the CC, but my only beef with that car is that it has an unfortunately short wheelbase:length ratio. (dreaded overhang). I agree though, it gets everything else mostly right, however.

Agreed on all counts there. Those two models are studies in how to pull off that look properly. Although, I agree something happened to the CC post face lift.

LOVE the A7, butt and all, although i wish the side light catcher was crisper...the green house is PERFECT. I sat in one for the first time at the autoshow and of course all that gorgeousness doesn't come free, for such a large car, it was kinda tight inside. The same could be said i'm sure of the 1st gen CLS - lovely, but I'm sure less than spacious. The CC is actually a fun and surprising spinoff of the Passat, but for me it still ultimately screams bland...I'm sure its short comings (and long overhangs) are because of the architecture underneath. Unfortunately, I'd have to say the same of Neal's exceptionally well done RLX GT. It's reminiscent of BMW's tall and bland 5 GT but on a larger scale. I think to be a successful 4dr coupe, you have to throw caution and practicality out the window and make a sleeker/even lower DLO and a better overhang to wheelbase ratio...hope I'm not being too rough with the critique :-(
Still think your photoshop skills are exceptional Neal :-)
